1. Go to the official website of JEE Main
2. Click on the “JEE Mains 2020 Application Form” link.
3. Now register here by providing the basic details such as name, contact number, email id, etc.
4. Upon successful registration, you will be issued with an application number and password.
5. Log in to the application portal using application number and password
6. After logging in, fill the application form with personal, qualification and contact details.
7. Upload scanned images of your photograph and signature in the application form as per the prescribed dimensions.
8. Verify all the details submitted and the images uploaded.
9. After verifying, pay the required amount of an application fee
10. Lastly, submit the filled JEE Main 2020 application form
11. Also, take a printout of the same for future reference.
The application fee for filling the application form differs according to the category of an individual. Applicants can check the amount from below:
• For Unreserved Categories – Rs. 500
• For SC/ST/OBC Categories – Rs. 250
Instructions for Uploading Scanned Images
• The scanned images should be in the size range from 10KB to 100 KB
• The images should be in JPEG/JPG format.
• The photograph should be recent, colored and of passport size
• The name of the candidate and the date of taking the picture should be mentioned on the photograph
• The photograph must be clear and without goggles
• Polaroid photographs will not be accepted.
